Q : What is this?
Obo! Is a comic about Obo; a burnt-out blob who stumbles into a grand adventure. The comic is still in its prologue so it may appear to be about trains. It is not about trains.

Q: Why is it called ‘Obo!’?
The protagonist is named Obo. I put an exclamation point at the end because it looked better when I was illustrating the title typography. It’s also such a short name without the exclamation point that I was worried it would be hard to search for.

Q: What software do you use to create this?
Adobe Photoshop primarily. I also make 3D models in Blender which I reference while I’m drawing.

Q: What media influenced the comic?
PS1+2 era RPGs, Studio Ghibli films, Andrei Tarkovsky’s ‘Stalker’, Northern Michigan, hundreds of artists/illustrators and much more that I can’t think of at the moment.
